METCCAS brings together households around the Murchison Falls park into an eco-tourism enterprise and savings groups of 30 members, providing them with savings kits, trainings in eco-tourism business and financial management and mentorship. These savings groups pool available resources and raise capital for investments in environmentally friendly enterprises, such as by offering savings and credit services, commercial apiary farming, craft making, traditional eco-lodges, horticulture, and music, dance and drama.
